Mi'kmaw perspective within training re commerical fisheries and species at risk   February 24, 2013

On 27 February 2013, Mi'kmaw Elder Albert Marshall will be speaking in Eskasonic First Nation at a training session for commercial fishers on the Mi'kmaw perspective as it relates to the topic of "commercial fishing and species at risk".  The training is being provided by UINR (Unama'ki Institute of Natural Resources) and Crane Cove Seafoods.  Additional presentations will be given by the Canadian Sea Turtle Network, Marine Animal Response Society, and the World Wildlife Fund.  For information on UINR, see:  http://www.uinr.ca/
