The Sacred Space of Womanhood: Mothering Across the Generations January 21, 2012

24-25 January 2012, Mi'kmaw Elders Murdena Marshall from Eskasoni and Lillian Marshall from Potlotek, as well as Dr. Marilyn Iwama (Integrative Science Research Fellow 2005-2008), will be in Ottawa, ON, for "The Sacred Space of Womanhood: Mothering Across The Generations" event (by invitation only). Hosted by the National Collaborating Centre for Aboriginal Health, the event will explore the role of cultural transmission from grandmothers through to mothers-to-be in the post-residential school era.
